Dontae Demetrius Diaz, Sr., 32, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at HCA FL Orange Park Hospital. T he son of Stephanie Dantzler Curry and Antonio Javier Diaz, he was born on Saturday, November 18, 1989 in Jacksonville. He was a 2008 graduate of Palatka High School and continued his education at St. Johns River State College. Dontae was self-employed. He was the owner and operator of Diaz Crew Transport LLC and Antpyle Media LLC. He was also the co-owner of Country Girls Seafood Shack LLC. He enjoyed traveling, working, watching sports and spending time with family and friends.

Dontae was preceded in eternal rest by his maternal great grandparents, John and Hester Lewis; maternal grandfather, John M. Dantzler; paternal grandfather, Antonio J. Diaz; brother, Tyshawn L. Session; uncle, Thurnell Dantzler; great uncles, Ronnie Lewis, John P. Lewis.
