Yvonne D. Lane Yvonne Denise Lane, 64, of Crescent City, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Putnam Community Medical Center following a brief illness. The daughter of Joe Brown Lane and Lillian Ward, Yvonne was a native of Weirsdale (Marion County), Florida, born on Saturday, August 3, 1946. She resided in Inverness (Citrus County) for many years before moving to Crescent City. She was a retired motel housekeeper. In 1981, She gave her life to Jehovah God and joined the Crescent City Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. In addition to her parents, Denise was preceded in eternal rest by her stepfather, Sip Johnson, Sr., sister, Vernell Fulton; and Brother, Sip Johnson, Jr. To cherish her memories: Daughter, Denise Barrs, Crescent City; Sister, Addie Addison (John) Crescent City; Brothers, Isaac Johnson (Rose) Inverness; Crescent City Police Chief Robert Johnson (Marilyn) Seville; Brother-in-law, Clarence Fulton, Crescent City; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, god daughters, other relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 29, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses. The cortege will assemble at the Lanes residence, 712 Grove Avenue, Crescent City at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. A Service of Praise and Thanksgiving will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30th, at the Crescent City Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses, 119 Ewers Road, Crescent City, Wendell Shepherd, officiating.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
