Wilma "Big Will" Roberts Wesley, 76, of Palatka, peacefully responded to her Master's call on Friday, October 20, 2023 at her residence. A native of Surrency, GA, she was born on Monday, October 21, 1946 to James H. Roberts and Minnie Lee (Vaughn) Roberts McCall. Wilma resided in Hastings and was educated in St. Johns County School District.

Wilma was a longtime farm labor contractor in St. Johns County and other areas throughout the United States. Wilma and her husband, David Lee Wesley provided mutual support for their six children. Wilma enjoyed fishing, gardening, and was an avid FL Gator and Jacksonville Jaguars fan who loved watching the games. She was very loyal to her community. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in eternal rest by her son, David Wesley Jr.; brother, PFC Marine Frank J. Roberts; sisters, Mattie Bell Roberts and Ida Mae Donald.

Wilma leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Sharlene Roberts, Palatka; sons, Frank J. (Hannah) Wesley, Palatka; Jerome Wesley, Arcadia; Anthony Leon Wesley, Starke; Wayne (Tanisha) Wesley, Palatka; "like a daughter," Amilia Alexander, Starke; devoted sister, Marie R. Heath, Jacksonville; two god-sons, Dexter and Jerome Fields, Palatka; best friend, Brenda Smith, Orange Park; 11 grandchildren Tremayne Roberts, LaToya Roberts Flores, Amy Major, Ashley Wesley, Rakeem Calhoun, Devin Wesley, Devon Wesley, Anthony "Tee" Wesley Jr., Devisha Wesley, Tierra Wesley, Wayne'Kerhia Wesley; niece, Garcia Fields; nephews, Horrace Thomas, Larry Jackson, Jean Paul Heath, Cleveland James, Johnathan Hayes, Phillip Hayes; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, other relatives and loving friends.

A Memorial Service in loving memory of Wilma will be 4 p.m., Saturday, October 28, 2023 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Bishop Thomas Cave, III, Senior Pastor, The Lord's Temple of Hastings, is the eulogist.
