Wilma Jean Bush, LPN, 66, of Hollister peacefully entered the sunset of life at her residence surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 15, 2017. A native of Bessemer(Jefferson County), Alabama, Wilma was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Olly and Mary Lee (McQueen) Smith, born on Thursday, January 18, 1951. She was educated in the Jefferson County Alabama Public School system. She was united in marriage to John L. Bush. Wilma was a resident of Hempstead, New York before relocating to Putnam County. She was a former resident of Palatka and had resided in Hollister for the past 14 years. She was a joyful servant of God and member of Abundant Life Ministries and was a former member of To God Be the Glory Holiness Church and Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse who recently retired due to declining health from Stewart-Marchman Act, Putnam Outpatient, Detox and Residential Complex. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Bush, Hollister; Loving daughters and son, Dollicia (Darren) Green, Interlachen; Shantae (Dwight "DW") Gilmer, Tampa; Shanae (Aubrey) Hill, Miami; Keri (Benjamin) Jackson, Gainesville; Jason Donnell Bush, New York City; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, colleagues, numerous other relatives and countless friends.
Visitation of family and friends will be from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Abundant Life Ministries, 890 North State Road 19, Palatka, followed by a "Celebration of Life" at 6 p.m., Pastor Chad Willis, Officiating. Private interment will be held at Oak Hill West Cemetery, Palatka.
