Willie Lee London, Sr., 68, of Bunnell, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at AdventHealth Palm Coast. A native of East Palatka, he was the son of Ed London, Sr. and Annie Bell Adams London, born on Saturday, August 22, 1953. Willie was educated in the Flagler County School District. His elementary and junior high years were spent at George Washington Carver and he was a 1973 graduate of Bunnell High School. He was employed by the Florida Department of Transportation as a master mechanic and he later had numerous of other ventures. He spent his final years residing at home with his devoted mother, Annie Bell London. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his father, Willie Lee was preceded in eternal rest by his sister, Loraine London; brother, Eddie London, Jr.; sister-in-law, Rosemary London.
He leaves a loving family to cherish his memories - he was the cherished son of, Annie Bell London, Bunnell; loving father of, Katrina Rennay (Clinton) Hankamp, Lake Worth; Ferlisha London, Willie London, Jr., both of Daytona Beach; caring grandfather of, Sara Christina Simes, Mariah Joanne Simes, both of Lake Worth; Win'Kerreyiah London, Daytona Beach; adoring brother of, Frank London Sr., James (Felicia) London, both of Bunnell; Pastor Ruby Williams, Jacksonville; Patricia Harris, Gloria (Kelvin, Sr.) Gipson, Bunnell; Melinda (David, Sr.) Myles, Palatka; Gail (Leroy, Sr.) Sampson, Sheila (George) Johnson, both of Palm Coast; thoughtful nephew of, Barbara Flint, Delray Beach; Edith Johnson, Bunnell; Evelyn Scarborough, Daytona Beach, Evelyn Adams, Jacksonville; god-brother of, Sheila Crawford, Palm Coast; Joyce Williams, Alberta Ward, both of Jacksonville; extended family of , Gloria Richardson and Family, The Gainey Family, The Monts Family, The Coleman Family, all of Jacksonville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines (including required masks) a socially-distanced visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, October 15 at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, 503 South Church Street, Bunnell. A Celebration of Willie's Life will be 11 a.m., Saturday, October 16 at First Baptist Bunnell, 2301 Commerce Parkway, Bunnell. Reverend Elijah Emanuel, Fellowship Restorational Church, Bunnell, eulogist. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery, Palm Coast.
