William "Bill" Richard Ludeman, 74, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at his residence. A native of Baraboo, Wisconsin, he was born on October 12, 1948 to Patricia Ann (Pinneo) Ludeman and John Frederick Ludeman. Bill resided in Columbia, MO for over half of his life. Bill & Brenda (his former wife) were well known to many in the Columbia area. They owned and operated a successful service repair business for many years with a plethora of loyal customers & friends. He had a soft spot in his heart for the elderly ladies of the area and he often repaired whatever they brought and he fixed it at no cost to them. A charismatic man, Bill often captivated the room with his current interests and strong opinions. He developed and operated a successful solar energy retail store way before its time. He was an inventor and entrepreneur with a sharp mind and a quick wit: a true Jack of all trades. Throughout his life in Columbia, his hobbies ranged from photography, boating, gunsmithing, knife-making, collecting unusual pipes and so much more. He followed his long-awaited dream of relocating to Florida and subsequently commenced raising his youngest daughter, Jennifer, as a single Dad.

He was preceded in eternal rest by his father, John Frederick Ludeman; brother, John Robert Ludeman; nephew, Simon Hoffman.
