Wanda Yvette Wilson Cazely, 56, of Crescent City, entered the sunset of life peacefully on Monday, May 1, 2017, at her residence. The daughter of Preston Scott, Jr. and Vernola Wilson, she was born on Thursday, February 16, 1961. She was a 1979 graduate of Crescent City High School. Wanda was employed as an assembly technician with Spartan Electronics, Deleon Springs. In her early years, she attended Union Bethel A.M.E. Church, Crescent City. Wanda was an avid reader who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in eternal rest by her maternal grandparents, Leroy and Agnes Wilson; brother, William Brockington; aunt, Dorothy Speer.
She leaves to cherish her memories: devoted mother, Vernola Wilson Miller; son and daughters, Sherlain Moody, Palatka; Jennifer Cazely, Crescent City; Keith (Christine) Cazely, Jr., El Plano, TX; 3 grandchildren, Cashmere Yarbart, Icelynn Murray, both of Palatka; Jayla Williams, Crescent City; brother, MSG Michael (Daisy) Wilson, Savannah, GA; aunts and uncle, Agnes Walker, Linda Cross, Lillie Ruth Anderson, Margie Green, all of Crescent City; Willie Mae Ryner, Dorchester, MA; Charlie Speer, Tampa; and a host of other relatives and friends, including favorite cousin, Brenda Rainey, Tampa.
Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, May 5 and Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 6, at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, South Putnam Campus, 608 Randolph Street, Crescent City, Rev. Karl N. Flagg, Senior Pastor. Elder Taurean Wilson, Sr., Associate Minister, Johnson Temple Church of God in Christ, Crescent City, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Eden Cemetery, Crescent City.
