Von Allen Mitchell, II, 37, of Hollister, entered the sunset of life on Monday, January 10, 2022 at his residence. A native of Palatka, he was the son of Von Allen Mitchell, Sr. and Linda (Day) Mitchell, born on Tuesday, November 27, 1984. He was educated in the Putnam County School District. Von was a stucco worker and a welder.  He had been recently employed by St. Johns Ship Building, Inc. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time in the mountains. Von was definitely a social butterfly and is already missed by those who loved him most.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in eternal rest by his sister, Kam Price; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memories: father, Von Allen Mitchell, Sr.; brothers, Shawn (Erin) Feagin; Mitchell (Nikki) Feagin; sister, Bobbie Joann Mitchell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 10:30-11:30 a.m. with Celebration of Life commencing at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 18 at Trinity Baptist Church, 5021 Silver Lake Drive, Palatka, Rev. Willie McKinnon, III, pastor, officiating . Interment will be in Pine Lawn Cemetery, Mannville.
