Vivian Cherylene Bell-Smith, 44, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Friday, October 9, 2009 at Park Meadows Health and Rehab Center in Gainesville.

A native of Miami, she was the daughter of Weldon Delano Bell and Burdie Lee Simon Bell, born Wednesday, December 2, 1964. She was a 1982 graduate of Miami-Jackson Sr. High School. She was a former Customer Service Representative with the AT&T Call Center and a retail sales associate within the Miami International Airport. In her early years, she was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Miami and very recently joined New Life Temple Fellowship, East Palatka. She had resided in Palatka for the past five years and enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends.

Her parents; maternal grandparents, John & Rebecca Williams; paternal grandmother, Katie Bell; A host of aunts and uncles, including Nettie Gordon, Jerome Sr., Johnnie Lee, Ike and Bryant Simon preceded her in eternal rest.

Visitation of family and friends will be Saturday, October 17th from 10am-3 p.m. with Homegoing Celebration will be 3 p.m. Saturday 17 at the Chapel of Serenity, 2400 Madison Street, Palatka. Bishop Mark A Jones is the eulogist.
