Vincent Jerome Washington, Jr., 41, of Palatka, (Crescent City) entered the sunset of life on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. The son of Vincent Washington, Sr. and Esther Dobson, he was born on November 24, 1979 in Gainesville. He was educated in the Putnam County School District and attended Crescent City Jr. / Sr. High School. Vincent recently earned his CDL and was anticipating initiating a trucking career. Vincent was known as a "gentle giant" to his family. He was a family man who especially loved his children. Vincent also loved to fish and cook, and he also loved his dogs.

In addition to his father, Vincent was preceded in eternal rest by his wife, Tyheia T. Lewis-Washington (March 20, 2020); sister, Felicia Love-Walker.

He leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Derrick Washington, Jaylen Washington, Vincent Washington, Jr., Kenton Bibbs, TeeQuavious Herring; daughters, Shaunteria Washington, Vincerria Washington, Shacasha Graham,; grandchildren, Arzarion Leonard, Artavian Leonard, Laynana Leonard, Shianna Graham; mother, Esther (Monnie) Dobson; grandmother, Betty Lou Sutton; siblings, Mandrell Dobson, Juanita (Joseph) Turner, Latoya (Garvin) Scope, Justine (Brandon) Padgett, Katrina (Frank) Small, Consuelo Jones; parents-in-law, Vickie (Earl) Thomas, Calvin (Raneen) McIntosh; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Vincent's Life will be held graveside, 10 a.m., Friday, September 3 at Old San Mateo Cemetery. Pastor Jarvis F. Wright, Sr., Pastor, New Saint Paul Church, officiating.
