Vincent Edward "Buck" Rhines, 56, of Palm Coast, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Halifax Health Medical Center, Daytona Beach. The son of Leila and Sherman Rhines, he was born on Sunday, October 3, 1965 in Perry, Florida. He was a 1982 graduate of Taylor County High School . Vince moved to Palatka, where he started his career in Corrections.  From Palatka, he subsequently moved to Interlachen, then Palm Coast, where he resided until God called him to rest. He was a wonderful son, husband, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Vince was kind-hearted, compassionate, and always caring for others. He left an impressionable imprint on all he came in contact with.

He leaves to celebrate his life and legacy: wife, Maria Rhines; sons, Vincent Rhines Jr., Jose Antonio Bruno; daughters, Maritza (Darrell) Jones, Mary (Ralph) Holmes,  Amerinell Santiago; grandchildren, Divinci, Demareon, Dayden, Derio, Darrell Jr., Jaida, Wyatt, Raina, Jaxxon, Jaycen, Jyce, Michael, Mikayla, Jacob; sisters, Frances Johnson, Elder Dr. Ella Rhines-Brown, Shertina Hugger, Jackie Johnson, Antoinette Johnson, Georgianna William-Johnson; brothers , Sherman and Terry Rhines, Emanuel Bolden; aunts , Chrissie Brinson, Annie Mae (Jacob) Spell, Mary A Jones; uncles , Lewis (Barbara) Johnson, LC (Margie) Johnson, Willie Lee (Rhonda) Johnson; nieces, Krystle, Trenisha, Seamone, Shavon, Tayler, Jaidyn, Samaria; nephews, Shedrick Harris Trent, and Brendell Johnson, Jarquise and JaQuan Howard, Terry Jr, Kai, and Amarri Rhines Sherman III, and Bryant Rhines; devoted cousin, Tony Johnson and a host of cousins, other relatives and close friends, including the Abundant Life Church Family.

Visitation of family and friends will be held 9-11 a.m. with a Celebration of Life commencing at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Abundant Life Ministries, 890 North SR 19, Palatka, FL 32177. Pastor Chad Willis is the officiant.
