Tyheia Tarina "Mookie" Lewis-Washington, 41, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Putnam Community Medical Center. A native of Palatka, she was the daughter of Calvin McIntosh and Vickie Thomas, born on Sunday, March 18, 1979. Tyheia was raised in San Mateo and a 1998 graduate of Palatka High School. She was a food service manager at several local fast food restaurants, including McDonald's, Taco Bell, Popeye's and Huddle House, with over 25 years of experience. She was a member of 2 nd Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, San Mateo. Her hobbies included dancing, working, and enjoying quality time with family and friends.
She was preceded in eternal rest by her grandparents , Charlie and Christine Thomas; Roosevelt Lewis, Sr.; brother, Curtis Lewis; great-grandfather, Dea. Willie Frank McKinnon, Sr., great-grandmother , Jessie Mae Pinkney-McKinnon, great-grandparents, George and Calle McIntosh; aunt, Kimberly Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Vincent Washington, Sr.; parents, Vickie (Earl) Thomas, Calvin (Raneen) McIntosh; sons, Kenton Bibbs, TeeQuavious Herring, Derrick Washington, Jaylen Washington, Vincent Washington, Jr.; daughters, Shacasha Graham, Shaunteria Washington, Vincerria Washington; grandchildren, Arzarion Leonard, Artavian Leonard, Laynana Leonard, Shianna Graham; brothers, Calvin (Victoria) Lewis, Jr., Jerry (Samantha) Mack, Jr., Deon McIntosh, Stephon McIntosh; sisters, Latoria Lewis, Latangy Mack, Doretha Mack, Valeria (Byron) Shorter, Jasmine McIntosh; grandmother, Mattie Ruth Lewis, great-grandmother, Mary McKinnon; god-daughter , Na'zaria West; god-sisters, Betty Jean Williams, Sabrina Fuller; best friend , Tasha Hardy; "like a daughter," Monica Feggins; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Visitation: 10-11 a.m. with a private Homegoing Celebration at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 28, at 2 nd Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 201 N. Boundary Road, San Mateo, Rev Charlie Williams, Pastor. Rev. Sandra Gilyard, Pastor, St. James A.M.E. Church, Welaka, is the eulogist. Interment: Old San Mateo Cemetery.
