Tressie Lee Brantley, 88, of Crescent City, entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at her residence.

Tressie Lee Brantley, the daughter of Louise McDuffie Wright, was born on Saturday, February 15, 1936 in Allendale, South Carolina. She was educated in the Allendale County School System. Tressie was a Christian who enjoyed gardening, watching soap operas, and caring for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in eternal rest by her husband, Marion Brantley, Sr.; children, SMSgt Charles Brantley, Sr., Lillian Burgess; brothers, Bernard Wright, Orgon Wright, Leroy Wright; sisters, Maudell Hicks, Hattie Lee Jordan.

She leaves to cherish her memories: son, Deacon Marion (Terri) Brantley, Jr.; "like a son," Mickey (Kim) Wright; "like a sister," Clotelia Taylor; grandchildren, Marion (Genora) Brantley III, Melissa (Eddie) Hall, Inez (Ben) Dodge, Joseph (Missy) Brantley, Dewayne (Jennifer) Cook, Brian (Ashley) Brantley, Kandy Brantley, CJ Brantley, Crystal Brantley, LaKeshia Hankins, Marcus Brantley, Derrell Fields; brother, Bobby Wright; sisters, Evangelist Annie Ruth Wright, Mary Alive Simmons; 19 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; devoted niece, Mary Jordan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
