Tonia Lynn Walker, 52, of Georgetown, entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in Welaka. The daughter of Michael Gisondi, Sr. and Mary Verigan, Tonia was born on Wednesday, March 3, 1971, in New Brighton, PA. She was educated in the Putnam County School District.  Soon after, she married Richard Walker and they began a family.  As a result of her love for horses, Tonia established a career in the equine industry as a horse farrier.  Her hobbies included riding horses and reading.

Tonia was preceded in eternal rest by her husband, Richard Walker; sister, Michelle Halliday.

Special memories of Tonia remain with her daughters, Amber (Bradley) Baker, Jessica (Neil) Nelson, Sarah (Cody) Clark, Caitlyn Kirtley;  sons, Raymond Kirtley and Michael Kirtley.; mother, Mary Verigan; father, Michael Gisondi, Sr.; brothers, Michael  Gisondi, Jr., Randy Gisondi; sisters, Lori White and Brenda Harlow;  eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Tonia's Life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2023 with visitation one hour prior at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity."   Interment will be in Oak Hill West Cemetery.
