Thomas Moody, Jr., 52, lifelong resident of Crescent City, entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, April 30th at Lakewood Nursing Center. He was the son of Thomas Sr. & Mary Moody born Monday, February 9th, 1956 in Crescent City. Thomas was a graduate of Crescent City High School, class of 72 and was very active in sports especially football and basketball. He was a member of Union Bethel A.M.E. Church. Thomas was employed for numerous years at John Newbold Ferneries. Two sisters, Ruby L. Miller and Emma J. Miller, precede Thomas in eternal rest. He leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Thomas (LaToya) Moody, III, Travis Moody, both of Daytona Beach, FL, brothers, John H. (Katie) Moody, Crescent City, Sherman Miller, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Charles Miller, Crescent City, Cecil Miller, Leesburg, FL, sisters, Connell Miller, Leesburg, FL, Louise Miller, Orlando, FL, 2 grandchildren, Truth Moody & Daisha Moody, both of Crescent City; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation of family & friends will be 5-7 pm on Friday, May 9th at, Union Bethel A. M. E. Church, 200 Cedar Street, Crescent City. Homegoing Services will be 1 pm Saturday, May 10th at Union Bethel A. M. E. Church, Rev. Godfrey V. Taylor, Pastor, officiating. Rev. Mildred J. Moten is the eulogist. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery
