Telica Gail Cooper Loftin, 54, of Crescent City entered the sunset of life on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. A native of Baldwin, FL, she was born on Saturday, July 5, 1958 to William & Thelma Holland Cooper. During her early childhood, her family relocated to Crescent City and she has been a resident for over 50 years. She was a 1976 graduate of Crescent City High School. She was a member of Jethro First Baptist Church and was formerly employed with Putnam County School District as a custodian at Crescent City High School. In 1990, she was united in marriage to the love of her life Earl Derrious Loftin. Telica, most importantly, was a friend to all she met. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in eternal rest by three sisters, Louann Cooper Nevill Campbell, Lucy Ann Cooper and Tranessa Ladvonda Wilson. Those who cherish her memory; brothers, Lendwood (Sharon) Small, Jacksonville; Howard Allen, Crescent City; sisters, Janice (Larry) Coleman, Beverly (Alton) Wilson, Barbara Cooper, Daphne Cooper, all of Crescent City; Amanda Cooper, Deland; Stephanie Cooper, Jacksonville; step-sister, Faye Turner, Crescent City; several aunts and uncles; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 at Jethro First Baptist Church, 101 Cedar Street, Crescent City, Rev. Adrian B. Washington, Pastor. Homegoing Celebration will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15 at True Foundation Ministries, 608 Randolph Street, Crescent City, Pastor Gwendolyn George. Brother Kelvin Brown, Northside Church of Christ, Jacksonville, is the Eulogist. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Crescent City.
