Taj Anthony Butler, 24, of Daytona Beach, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Halifax Health Medical Center, Daytona Beach. The son of Jimmie Baker and Jadesola Brown, he was born on Tuesday, March 9, 1999 in Daytona Beach. He was educated in the Flagler County School District and attended Flagler Palm Coast High School.During high school, he played basketball for the Recreation League in Bunnell and later moved to Daytona Beach. While in Daytona Beach, he earned certification as a barber and was presently in school to obtain his CDL. He was employed by Waste Pro Daytona Beach. Additionally, Taj had initiated his own clothing line. He was living life to the fullest - making music, listening to music, spending time with family and friends. Taj also enjoyed playing football with the Flagler Wolf Pack team.

Taj was preceded in eternal rest by his maternal grandmother, Henrietta Brown; paternal grandparents, Lewis and Barbara Jean Coleman; son, Blake Butler.

Visitation: 10-11 a.m. with a Celebration of Life commencing at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 17 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 108 Knox Jones Avenue, Bunnell, FL, Rev. Abram S. Jones, Pastor. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery, Palm Coast.
