Steven Reginald Johns Jr., 78, Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, May 17th at Shands at the University of Florida, Gainesville. He was a native and lifelong resident of Palatka and was educated in the Putnam County School District. Steven was born August 19, 1989 to union of Kim Vreen Johns and Steven R. Johns Sr. He had a passion for working on computers and shopping. He was preceded in eternal rest by his maternal grandparents, Earl & Kathryn Kitty Vreen and Paternal grandmother, Rose Wheeler.

Johns Sr., Jacksonville; Sisters, Julie Johns, Stephanie Johns, and Shakita Johns, all of Palatka; Stacie Johns, Tracie Johns, Shannon Johns, all of Daytona Beach; Brothers, Brian Vreen, Justin Vreen, and Jamal Johns all of Palatka; paternal grandfather, Swinner (Helen) Johns; Special Friends, John Whitlock and Amanda Padgett, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Service of Celebration will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009 with visitation from 9 a.m. until time of the services at the Chapel of Serenity. Superintendent H. Wayne Colbert, pastor of Victorious Faith Church of God in Christ, will be officiating.
