Stephanie Melody Robinson Beacham, 43, of Apopka (former Crescent City Resident) entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Hospice of the Comforter Hospice House, Altamonte Springs following an extended illness. Stephanie was a native of Ocala, born Sunday, August 7, 1966 to Rev. & Mrs. Timothy F. (Virginia A. Clark) Robinson, Jr. She was a graduate of Crescent City High School, class of 1984. Stephanie initially attended the University of Florida in Gainesville. Subsequently, she studied at Riverside Beauty Academy in Jacksonville and became a licensed cosmetologist. She was a member of the New Church of Faith in Orlando and a former member of Jethro 1st Baptist Church, Crescent City and the Philippian Community Church of Jacksonville. She was a devoted and faithful servant of God. For 20 years, Stephanie owned and operated Stephanies Hair Design in Fern Park. She also was a former member of the Flossie Hopkins Mann Chapter #174 Order of the Eastern Star.
Stephanie is preceded in eternal rest by Maternal Grandparents, Rev. & Mrs. George A. (Willa) Clark II; Paternal Grandparents, Rev. & Mrs. Timothy F. (Ethel M.) Robinson, Sr., and Aunts, Evelyn C. Cooper and Dorothy Clark.
To cherish her memories, Son, Jesaiah Beacham, Parents, Reverend & Mrs. Timothy Franklin (Virginia C.) Robinson Jr., all of Apopka; Sisters, Pamela (Michael) Dennard, Tampa; Yolanda Simmons, Jacksonville; Crystal (Michael) Bynum, Orlando; and Talya (Eldore Andre) Howard, St Petersburg; Aunts, George (Rosa) Clark, Daytona Beach and Daphne Porter, St Petersburg; Uncles, Larry Clark and Otis Cooper, both of Bronx, NY; Alvin Porter Sr., St. Petersburg; and a host of other relatives.
Visitation of family & friends will be Friday, Sept. 18, from 5-7 pm with a 6 p.m. memorial Service at Miller Intermediate School, 210 Prospect St., Crescent City. Homegoing Celebration: 2 p.m. Saturday, September 19 at New Church of Faith, 5000 Silver Star Road, Orlando, FL. Bishop David S. Beacham, Eulogist. Bishop Jonathan McKnight, Sanctuary of Praise Church of God by Faith will be presiding.
Interment will be 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, in Oak Hill West Cemetery, Palatka. Friends may sign the familys guestbook at www.flaggserenitychapel.com. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Karl N. Flagg Serenity Memorial Chapel, 2400 Madison Street, Palatka, FL.
