Shiron Dupree Brooks, Jr, 26, native and lifelong resident of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Friday, May 20, 2022 at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital, Palatka. The son of Shiron D. Brooks, Sr. and Martha Clark, he was born on Monday, June 12, 1995. Shiron was a 2012 graduate of Putnam Banner Private School, Palatka. Shiron worked in the timber industry and was employed by M & D Pulling, LLC and was also a warehouse worker. He enjoyed listening to music, playing video games and restoring old cars. He was preceded in eternal rest by his paternal grandfather, John Lee Johnson; aunts, Lovetha Neeley Johnson and Katoria Clark.

He leaves to cherish his memories: son, Zyaire Purifoy, Palatka; daughter, Shilah Dupree Brooks; parents, Martha (Herman) Kearse, Shiron (Nikita) Brooks, Sr., both of Palatka; brothers, Jared (LaSandra) Jones, Palatka; Tayaun (Cierra) McKinnon, Daytona Beach; Royalty Brooks, Palatka; sisters, Keiara Kearse, Shi'keriya Brooks, Ikea Rose Brooks, all of Palatka; Deondria Kearse, Jasmine Kearse, Destini Evans, all of St. Augustine; aunts & uncles, Pamela (Lorenzo) Smith, Willie Brown, Brazil Brown, Anthony (Veronica) Clark, Thilisha (Henry) Aaron, Albert (Regina) Myles, Jr., Antwaun Myles, LaRhonda Myles, Jacqueline Myles, Dominic Neely, Wylonda (Gerald) Bullocks, Atone Brooks,Theresa (William) Underwood, Rashad Medlock, Levar Brooks, Natasha Johnson, Josephine Johnson, Kyzmet Clark, Renard Clark, Seon Clark, Aaron Clark, Reshena Clark, Barron Clark; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Celebration of Shiron's Life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 28 at Calvary's Family Life Center, 1414 Bronson Street, Palatka, Reverend Herbert L. Johnson, Jr., Pastor. Pastor Beverly Canty, Higher Dimensions of Hope, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill West Cemetery.
