Shirley Turner passed away at home on Sunday, April 19, 2026. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She is survived by her six children (Terrance, Glen, Sharmion, Sharmyne, Johnathan and Monroe), fifteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, five siblings, one maternal aunt; six sisters in law, Sonja Turner, Mamie Turner, Eunice Turner Pruitte, Jeanette Turner, Barbara Turner, Jacqueline Turner Hingleton; seven brothers in law, Eugene Turner, Eddie Turner, Barry Turner, James Turner, Anthony Turner, Larry Turner, Melvin Turner and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She was born in Middleburg, Florida on November 19, 1946. She later relocated to St. Louis, Missouri, where she met and married the love of her life, Odell Turner. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, May 2, 2026, at St Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Middleburg, Florida. Burial will follow in the Grant Forman Cemetery.
