Obituary

Sherry Lynn Quick, 62, of Satsuma, entered the sunset of her life on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at her Palmway residence. She was a native of St. Augustine, FL and resided in St. Johns County for many years before moving to Putnam County for the past 18 years. Sherry was formerly employed as a secretary/bookkeeper with Cat Construction, RDR Discount Store in Waynesboro, GA, and the Hastings Truck Stop (owned and operated by her parents). She had numerous hobbies including arts and crafts, cooking, gardening, going to the beach, and just spending time with her family. She was also an avid collector of clown memorabilia. Sherry was preceded in eternal rest by her parents, John S. & Rachel E. (Foster) Hart; son John D. Foster, and granddaughter Caitlyn Bryant. To cherish her memories: Devoted Companion of 4 years, Clarence Conner, Satsuma, FL; two daughters, Lynetta Higginbotham (Jack), Satsuma; Tammi (Hans Geno) Bryant, Satsuma; Son, Keith (Cindy-Lee) Foster, Homosassa, FL; three brothers, Dennis (Darlene) Hart, Dillon, SC; William (Helen) Hart, San Mateo and Kevin (Tammy) Hart, Hahira, GA., Aunt Ida Faye Irvin, Deland; devoted friend, Curtis Skipper, Satsuma; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grand-son; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her prized 13 yr. old yorkie-poo, Chewy. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday April 16, 2009 at Faith Baptist Church, 4330 County Road 15A Green Cove Springs, Rev. Ed Steves, Pastor, officiating.
