Sheila Arletha Powell, 62, of Daytona Beach (Crescent City native), entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. The daughter of Deacon James and Helen Powell, she was born on Tuesday, October 31, 1961 in Crescent City, Florida. She received Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a member of Walker's Chapel Church of God by Faith. She relocated to San Antonio, Texas, and later moved to Daytona Beach, Florida. She became a member of Butts Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ, where she served on the Usher Board. She enjoyed word search puzzles, knitting, crocheting and eating seafood.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in eternal rest by her brother, Minister James Powell, Jr.

Sheila leaves to cherish her memories: sisters, Cynthia Powell, Verness Powell, Marilyn Powell; uncle, Elder Theodore (Ruby) Powell, Sr., Louis Richardson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and special friends, including The Butts Miracle Temple Church Family and The Walker's Chapel Family.
