Obituary

Sharon Evon Brinson Harrell, 59, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center. The daughter of Dan and Annie B. Brinson, II, Sharon was a native and lifelong resident of Palatka, born on Tuesday, January 1, 1957. She was educated in the Putnam County School District (Central Academy High School). Sharon was a faithful member of First Born Church of the Living God, where she served as a Deaconess, Sunday School Superintendent, and sang in the choir. She was a seasonal worker and a certified cook employed by several restaurants. Sharon enjoyed watching television, especially soap operas and also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in eternal rest by her sisters, Francis Varner, Louise Campbell, Linda Mack (4/3/2016); brothers, Sylvester Brinson, Sr., Lamar Brinson and Richard Brinson.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: husband of 12 years, Samuel Harrell, Jr., Palatka; brothers, Dan (Angela) Brinson, III, Larry (Stephanie) Brinson, Sr., Tim Brinson, Sr., Joseph (Barbara) Brinson; sisters , Claudia Johnson, Catherine Daniels, Betty Coley, Beverly (Sherman) Canty, Anna (Lynnwood) Alridge; aunt, Lucille Madry; brothers-in-law, Robert Harrell, Dennis (Lucy) Harrell; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Stith, Cynthia (John) Knight, Niecey Harrell, Vickie Harrell; godchildren, Linda Williams, Shirley Faye, TeParriyah Castor, Mya Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will held at her church from 4-7 p.m., Friday, May 13. Homegoing Celebration will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at First Born Church of the Living God, 1708 Madison Street, Palatka, Bishop W. L. Smith, Sr., Pastor, is the Eulogist. Interment will be in Oak Hill West Cemetery, Palatka.
