Shaneka Evon "Nikki Boo" Jenkins, 26, of Bunnell, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at her residence. A native of Daytona Beach, she was the daughter of Rodger and Juanita Elizabeth (Miller) Jenkins, Sr., born on Tuesday, August 16, 1988. She was a 2007 graduate of Flagler-Palm Coast High School. Shaneka enjoyed life to the fullest and really loved to eat, style hair and simply spend time with family and friends. Shaneka was preceded in eternal rest by her twin-brother, Rodger Ronnie Jenkins, Jr., paternal grandfather, Johnny Lee Jenkins, Sr., and paternal grandmother, Lizzie Mae Jenkins. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Shanijah "Peanut" Jenkins, Bunnell; parents, Roger and Juanita Jenkins, Bunnell; sister, Tryrinnida Jenkins (Wilson), Bunnell; like a sister, Kelonda Miller, Bunnell; brothers, Charles (Jade) Phillips, James Timmons, Jerold Burnham, Fredrick Walker (Soul), all of Bunnell; grandparents, Frank (Yvonne) Bryant, Carl (Evelyn) Cooper, both of Bunnell, Willie Tanner, Palatka; a host of aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends including the father of her daughter, Trevor Mobley. Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, July 24 at House of Joy Ministries, 306-B South Railroad St., Bunnell. A Celebration of Shaneka's life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 25, at Church on the Rock, 2200 N (US1) State St., Bunnell, Reverend Bruce Laurent, Pastor. Rev. Michael McKay, pastor of Greater Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Palatka is the eulogist. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery, Palm Coast.
