Shanea Arnette "Sam" Miller Williams, 51, of Jacksonville, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at HCA Orange Park Hospital. The daughter of Eugene Miller, Jr. and Lezona (Wiggins) Miller, she was born on Wednesday, May 16, 1973 in Palatka, Florida. Shanea was educated in the Putnam County School District and graduated from Palatka High School with the Class of '91. For more than 20 years, Shanea was employed by HCA Orange Park Hospital as an administrative assistant. Shopping and spending time with her grandchildren were among Shanea's favorite things to do. She was a member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Melrose.
In addition to her parents, Shanea was preceded in eternal rest by grandparents, Queen Ollie Bivens Miller, William Leroy and Lula Mae (Norris) Wiggins; father-in-law, Lee Williams, Sr.
Precious memories of Shanea remain with her loving husband, Tyrone Clarence Williams, Sr.; sons, Tyrone (Celina) Williams, Tyone Williams; daughters, Kaila Hill, Destiny Fields, Mykeia Kelly, Keashae Hankins, Tyera Williams, Ty'kerria Williams; grandchildren, Trinity, Grady, Tavis, A'miracle, Cameron, Amor, Kyrie, Seth, De'Mauri; brothers, Timothy Wiggins, Sr.; sisters, Teleshia Singleton, Leauntray (Marc), Dedrick, Stephanie (Brian) Nelson; mother-in-law, Clarissa Williams; brother-in-law, Lee Williams, Jr.; uncles and aunts, Norris "Genie" (Norma) Wiggins, Alice Mae Epps-James, Betty Wiggins, Ophelia Maxine (Willie Ogburn, Cassandra Kennedy, Brenda (Will) Miller-Chambliss, Leonardo (Karen) Miller; goddaughter, Shanea Kemp; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, May 9 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Celebration of Shanea's Life will be 3 p.m., Saturday, May 10 at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, 4909 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka. Reverend Alvin Oliver, St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Melrose, officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill West Cemetery.
