Sara Joanna Bailey, 41, of Jacksonville, entered the sunset of life on Friday, November 22, 2024 at  Aspire at Orange Park. The daughter of Linda Bailey-Young and Joseph Wilson, she was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1983 in Jacksonville. She was a member of Trumpet In Zion Church where she served as a Pastor's Assistant and usher. She attended Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) and obtained her Medical Assistant and Life Coach certifications. She was employed by UF Health Shands as a Medical Assistant and was also employed by Amazon. Sara enjoyed working out at the gym, helping people and giving back to the community.

Sara was preceded in eternal rest by her son, Casey Smith; daughter, Naveh Smith; stepfather, Jerome Brisbane; paternal grandmother, Betty Brinkley; maternal grandparents, Aldosia and Audrie Sails; cousin, Derrall Whaley; uncle, Ulysses Bailey.

She leaves to cherish her memories: parents, Linda (John) Bailey-Young, Joseph Wilson; children, Terriona Jackson, LeBron Bailey, Asia Blackshear, Angel Bailey, Ky'mani Bailey, Abigail Bailey; brothers, Gregory Bailey, Marcus Young, Desi (Nicole) Wilson; sisters, Rachael Bailey, Jonessa Young, Dominique Schofield, Natalie Jean; godson, Jarvis Smith; aunts & uncles, Sammy (Kim) Bailey, Anita (George) Davenport, Reda Mae (Darrell) Whaley, Beverly Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be held 10-11 a.m. with a Celebration of Life commencing at 11 a.m., Friday, December 13, at Trumpet In Zion Fellowship, 6007 Seaboard Ave., Jacksonville. Apostle Darryl G. McCoy, Sr., Pastor and Eulogist. Interment will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, December 14, at Oak Hill East Cemetery, 2900 Crill Ave., Palatka.
