Sandra Epps Turner, 55, of Houston, TX, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Memorial Hermann Hospital, Houston. A native of Orlando, she was the daughter of A.W. and Johnnie Mae (Herlong) Epps. She often traveled to Palatka to visit her paternal grandmother, Alice Hopkins Epps and other relatives. She was educated in the Orange County School District and was a 1977 graduate of Orlando's Oakridge High School. She was employed as an Accountant for South Oil Company. Sandra was a member of Langwood Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and grandparents, Sandra was preceded in eternal rest by her husband, Charles Turner (September 16, 2013); brother, Alfred Epps. To cherish her memories: son, Efrain Epps; daughter, Sandretta Turner, both of Texas; sister, Cecelia Epps (Noah) Hardy, Crescent City; brother, Norris Epps, Orlando; aunts, Alice Mae Epps (Lester) James, Palatka; Anner Lee Herlong, Pomona Park; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be next Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 9-11 a.m., with Homegoing Celebration at 11 a.m. at Langwood Baptist Church, 4134 Southerland Road, Houston, TX.
