Samuel Layton Fox, Sr., was born on Thursday, March 17, 1966 in Rota, Spain to Samuel Fox and Audrey Belden.  As a part of a military family, Samuel traveled extensively during his formative years.  He graduated from Palatka High School and was trained in masonry. For many years, Samuel owned a block masonry company.  In his spare time he enjoyed shooting pool, hunting, fishing and watching cooking and comedy shows.  Meat and potatoes were the basis of his favorite meal choices. He was known to have had a great sense of humor.

Samuel entered the sunset of life on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at his residence.

Samuel is survived by his sons, Landon Fox and Layton Fox; stepdaughter Juliet Bramlitt (Trey) Davis; brother, Tom (Kathi) Fox.
