Ruth Ann Norris, 67, of Palatka entered the sunset of life on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Putnam Community Medical Center. A native of Palatka, she was the daughter of Rochell Norris & Naomi (Lee) Norris born on Wednesday, June 18, 1947. She was educated in the Pleasantville (New Jersey) and the Putnam County, FL Public School Systems. Ruth was a 1967 graduate of Central Academy High School and subsequently attended St. Johns River Community College. Ruth was a very conscientious person and was formerly employed as a Sales consultant with the Palatka Daily News. Her favorite past-time including reading, sewing and spending time with her two beloved daughters. Ruth Ann was a devout Christian and strived diligently to instill the word of God within the hearts of her loving family and friends. In addition to her parents; her sister, Janice F. Norris; brothers, Rochell Norris, Jr., and Earl Norris preceded her in eternal rest. To cherish her memories, two daughters, Tearney Wilson, Palatka; Tiffany Wilson, Tallahassee; Sisters, Zelma Norris, Pleasantville, NJ; Katherine Norris Austin; Linda G. Norris, both of Palatka; Sister-in-law, Pastor Ester Mae McDuffy, Palatka; and a host of additional siblings in Pleasantville, NJ & Jacksonville ; nieces, nephews, and caring friends including, Dr. Aaron J. Hall, Palatka. A celebration of Ruth Ann's life was held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Oak Hill West Cemetery with Rev. Karl N. Flagg, Pastor of Mt.
