Mr. Rozelle Williams, Jr., 78, of Irvington, NJ, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, Palatka. The son of Rozelle Williams, Sr., and Winnie Lee (West) Williams, he was a native of Palatka, born on Tuesday, April 28, 1942. He was educated in the Putnam County School District and a graduate of Central Academy High School. He spent most of his life in New Jersey, relocating to East Orange and subsequently Irvington. He was a retired assemblyman from General Motors in Rahway, NJ. Rozelle, Jr., was of the Baptist Faith. He loved to spend time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in eternal rest by his daughters, Dena Williams, Stacy McCray; sister, Corene Williams West; brothers, Alonzo (Wallace ) Williams James A Williams; maternal grandparents, William West, Sr., and Corene Gavin West; Paternal grandmother, Essie Mae Williams.

Sisters, Charlene Harris, Columbus, OH; Goldie Williams Baker and Sabrina Williams Brown, both of Palatka; Aunts and uncles, Loretha West Johnson, Palatka; Marvie (Nathan) Allen, East Palatka; Iona West, Dorothy West, Miami; Willie James (Mamie) Johnson, Warner Robins, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends, including special nieces, Crystal, Mocha, and Nytisha.

In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines, the Williams family is honoring Rozelle's wishes and has scheduled his entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, New Jersey.
