IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roxanne Geary
Schlosser
November 29, 1959 – January 31, 2023
Roxanne "Gert" Geary Schlosser, 63, native of Petoskey, MI and resident of Larks Lake, MI, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at her winter home in Satsuma, Florida. The daughter of Ronald Glen Geary and Maryann Whitaker Geary was born on Sunday, November 29, 1959. She was educated in the Emmet County School District at Harbor Springs High School, Class of 1977. She earned an AA degree from North Central Michigan College.
Roxie was a giver above all, very nurturing and always placed the wants/needs of others before her own. She was of the Christian faith. Roxie was an exceptional caregiver for the elderly. She was typically "fashionably late". She would fall asleep 5 minutes into the beginning of the movie. Everyone loved her.
Her hobbies included shopping at yard sales and constantly buying furniture/appliances (just for the deal). She often gave away her furniture finds. She enjoyed the sunshine, sun tanning and mowing the lawn. She was a lover of all types of flowers, candles, and birds, mostly Cardinals. Roxie had a particular affinity for lighthouses. Even though she acted like she didn't like dogs, she really loved them.
In addition to her parents, Roxie was preceded in eternal rest by her sister, Debbie Sue Geary, niece, Ashley Shepherd; nephew, Jimmy Luttrell and great nephew, Little Jason Luttrell.
She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Edward Samuel Schlosser, Larks Lake, MI; sons , Matt Schlosser (Amanda Moore - fiancee'), Brutus, MI, Samuel Schlosser (Margaret), Saint Clair, MI, Ronald Schlosser, Indian River, MI, sister, Patti Shepherd; brother, Darcy Geary (Margaret); uncle, Don Geary, all of Harbor Springs, MI; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
A memorial celebration will be held during the summer near her home in northern Michigan. Online condolences: www.flaggserenitychapel.com . Arrangements entrusted to the care of Karl N. Flagg Serenity Memorial Chapel.
