Rosita Olivia Stringer, 68, of Elkton, was welcomed into thepresence of the Lord on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Flagler Hospital. A native of the Republic of Panama (Central America), she was born on October 8, 1947 to Claudio and Louisa Croney. She was an honor graduate of Instituto Bolivar in Panama.Her academic success, oratorical excellence, and creative performance were exceptional. She was a resident of Louisville, KY, New York, and Miami before moving to Elkton in 1983. She was a member, Missionary Society president andSunday School teacheratFirst Baptist Church of Armstrong.She was also a bible expositor in the St. Johns River BaptistAssociation (Union #1). Shewas a former shop manager at Ripley's Believe It or NotMuseum, St. Augustine.

Visitation will be 12-2 p.m.Saturday at her church. Homegoing Celebration will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 27, at First Baptist Church of Armstrong, 6370 Armstrong Road, Elkton.Pastor Qunicy D. Griffin, Sr. of the Family Worship & Praise Center, Tallahassee, FL. is the eulogist. Interment will be in Armstrong Cemetery.
