Rose Lee McDonald, 75, of Bunnell, entered the sunset of life on Monday, February 9, 2026 at AdventHealth Palm Coast.

Rose Lee McDonald, the beloved daughter of James Sr. and Ella Mae Howell, was born on December 30, 1940 in Bunnell, Florida. Rose Lee was a devoted wife for over 47 years. She was a dear sister, godmother and friend who loved fishing and shopping with friends. She will be remembered for her smile and generous heart.

In addition to her parents, Rose Lee was preceded in eternal rest by her god-granddaughter, Autumn R. Anderson; and dear cousin, Priscilla Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, R.C. McDonald, Bunnell; brother, James (Doris) Howell, Jr., Daytona Beach; goddaughters, Hazel Jones and Elizabeth Johnson, Daytona Beach; godson, Davon Hall, Espanola; god-grandchildren, Christopher Land Jr, San Diego, CA; Brech’ Wilson, Daytona Beach; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitations of family and friend will be 2-3 p.m. with a Celebration of Life commencing at 3 p.m., Saturday, February 21, at The Rock Transformation Center, 2200 North State Street, Bunnell. Pastor Dorothy Moody, Tree of Life EPC, is the eulogist. Interment: Masonic Cemetery, Palm Coast.
