Missionary Rosa Lee Wilcox Eady, 76, of Daytona Beach, peacefully entered the sunset of life on Friday, November 27, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. The eighth of nine children, she was born on Saturday, November 25, 1939 to the late union of Henry and Carrie Wilcox in Fort McCoy, Florida. The Wilcox family later relocated to Green Cove Springs, and Rosa received her formal education in the Clay County School District. "Mother Eady" received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at a young age under the leadership of Pastor C.H. Howard. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Superintendent Aubrey Eady. "Mother Eady" worked untiringly by her husband's side to win souls for the Kingdom at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. She served as the District Missionary for the Palatka & Hastings Districts and on the Executive Board for the Women's Department of Central Florida First for many years. "Mother Eady" received numerous awards for her dedication and service to the body of Christ. She was the founder of Soul Refreshing Church of God in Christ, which is presently known as Greater Harvest Ministry Church of God in Christ, where she served faithfully under the leadership of her daughter, Shepherdess Terry L. Brown. "Mother Eady" loved to travel to the Church of God in Christ conventions. She was a prayer warrior and a soul winner. She often stated "Winning souls is like picking at a scab on a sore, if you keep picking at the scab, the sore will bleed."
She was preceded in eternal rest byher parents; husband; three sisters, El'Nora Williams, Deborah Brockington, Luethel Acker; brother, James Wilcox.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m.,Friday, December 4 at Soul Refreshing Ministry Church of God, 900 George W. Engram Blvd., Daytona Beach, Pastor Allen Wilder. Homegoing Celebration will be 2 p.m., Saturday, December 5 at Master's Domain Church of God in Christ, 511 Fremont Avenue, Daytona Beach, Superintendent Derrick R. Harris, Pastor. Bishop Gary L. Hall, Sr., Jurisdictional Prelate of the Church of God in Christ, Central Florida First Jurisdiction. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Daytona Beach.
