Rory Devon Hayward, 31, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at his residence. The son of Linda Appling Evans and Willie James Hayward, Rory was a native of Palatka, born on Wednesday, September 26, 1984. He was a 2003 graduate of Palatka High School. He was employed as a sandblaster for Corrocoat USA in Jacksonville. He was a member of the Palatka House of God Church. Rory really loved music, enjoyed spending time with his family and was an awesome grill master at cookouts.

In addition to his father , he was preceded in eternal rest by his stepfather , Raymond Evans, Sr.; maternal grandparents , Willie James and Nina Lou Appling; paternal grandparents , James and Gertrude Hayward; daughter , Wycazsie Dallas; brother , Daryl "Pam" Hayward.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Wytonvia Dallas Hayward, Palatka ; mother, Linda Appling Evans, Hastings; father, Wilbert Evins, Sr., Palatka; stepmother, Evon Hayward, Armstrong; children, WyZerreyon Cooler, Wyzasurri West, Wydemi'trez Phillips, Beautiful Hayward, all of Palatka; brothers , Reginald (Kimberly) Davis, Wilbert James Evins, Jr., both of Palatka; Raymond Evans, Jr., Hastings; Justin Evans, West VA; Willie Bernard Hayward, Armstrong; Pastor Titerian Fields, Sr., Hastings; sisters, Suzette Evins, Kendra Evins, Brandi Evins, all of Jacksonville; Patricia Hayward-Willis, Nanette Hayward, Monique Hayward, all of Armstrong; mother-in-law, Annie Mae Robinson, Palatka; father-in-law, Wade (Terrie) Dallas, Sr., East Palatka; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m., Friday, July 15 at Flagg's Chapel of Serenity. Celebration of Life will be 3 p.m., Saturday, July 16, at Mr. Tabor First Baptist Church, 4909 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, Reverend Karl N. Flagg, Pastor. Bishop Gilbert L. Evans, Jr., Pastor of the Palatka House of God Church, is the eulogist.

Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery, San Mateo.
