Rontrice Levon "Jerrell DaKidd Woods" Simmons, 28, of Altamonte Springs, entered the sunset of life on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Central FL Regional Hospital, Sanford, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was a native of Gainesville and started his life's journey in his hometown of Crescent City.  He was educated in the Putnam County School District and worked in several fast food restaurants. He was a member of Victory Worship Center.  He was an avid baseball player who loved to dance. He stayed in front of someone's camera and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Williams; Dad: Delvin Dillard; Step Dad: Timothy Rogers Sr.; Siblings: Lillian Rogers, Timothy Rogers, Zoey Walker, Kody Cooper, Kanisha Dillard, Lanisha Caldwell, Jockquaris Caldwell, Quantavis Williams; Grandparents: Addie (John) Addison; Lois Fuller; Cathy (Eddie) Bobo; Louise Williams, Jeffery (Charlotte)Dillard; Lewis Ann Miler; Numerous a unts and uncles; God-parents: Dunstan and Rev. Dietrich Champagnie and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be from 5-7 p.m. at Victory Worship Center, 1022 Huntington Rd., Crescent City, FL, Pastor Vincent Oliver.   Homegoing Celebration will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6, at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church-South Campus, Crescent City, Rev. Karl N. Flagg, Pastor. Rev. Dietrich J. Champagnie, of The Twelve Tribes of Israel, is the Eulogist. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Crescent City.
