Ronald Tyrone "Fatman" Burch, Jr., 25, of Elkton, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Orange Park Medical Center. A native of St. Augustine, he was the son of Ronald Tyrone Burch, Sr. and Nakita Storey Burch, born on Monday, December 4, 1995 in St. Augustine. He was educated in the St. Johns County School District and was a 2015 graduate of Pedro Menendez High School, where he played football and basketball. Over the years, he attended worship services at Tabernacle Baptist Church, No Cross No Crown Christian Assembly, and Prophetic Worship Outreach. "Fatman" was a Miami Hurricanes fan. He was a fitness guru (gym rat) who enjoyed working out, football, basketball, and riding his dirt bike. He was a truck driver formerly employed by Western Express, TN and was presently employed with Hogan Trucking, Gainesville.
He was preceded in eternal rest by his grandmother, Annie Mae "Pie" Hancock; grandfathers, Preston Storey, Jr., John Burch, Sr., Larry Hancock; great-grandmothers , Mae Clara Rowe, Jenny Lee Wilson; great - grandfather , Willie LaCue; uncle, Marvis Storey.
He leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Bella Michelle Burch; parents, Ronald, Sr. and Nakita Burch; brothers, Aubrey Burch, Larry Harvey, III, Brock Burch; sister, LaKera Burch; paternal grandfather, John Burch, II; maternal grandmother, Delores Washington; special friend, Brandi Johnson (Bella's Mother); uncles, John Burch, III, Orlando (Eurica) Burch, Gerald (Latasha) Rowe, Preston "Dre" Storey, Jermaine Washington, Tomas Jones, Shawn Holmes, Hassan (L'Dtretre) Armond; aunts, Latrina Storey, Kemyatta Charles, Brittney Holmes, Johnetha (Jeremy) Smith; god-sister , Niya Givens; and a host other relatives and friends.
CDC guidelines will be followed. Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Friday, June 18 at New St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 135 N. Rodriquez Street, St. Augustine. Celebration of Ronald's Life: 1 p.m., Saturday, June 19, at Anchor Faith Church, 2121 US Hwy 1 South, Suite 28, St. Augustine. Apostle Tammy Reese, Prophetic Worship Outreach, officiating. Interment: Evergreen Cemetery.
