IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Frederic
Warren
June 9, 1942 – February 7, 2025
Robert F. Warren, MD, was born on Tuesday, June 9, 1942 in Freeport, NY, to his parents Walter and Marjory. He graduated from Purdue University where he studied electrical engineering then pre-med. He studied medicine at NYU and The Hospital for Joint Diseases in NY. From there he served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After which he dedicated his life to medicine. That dedication compelled him even in his retirement years to continue to provide care to many people including strangers who appeared at the door. He was a founding member of Brielle Orthopedics in NJ.
Dr. Warren's sense of adventure and positive nature was the foundation for a full and fascinating life. He enjoyed sailing, skiing, amateur radio and traveling. He loved hiking in the Adirondack mountains where he spent countless weekends and summers at Serenity, in Keene, NY, which was his favorite cabin getaway. In recent years, he particularly enjoyed touring the world on his motorcycle with his dear friends.
He spent his retirement in Pomona Park, FL serving as a dedicated town council member which he enjoyed immensely. His compassion was boundless. He was an animal lover and a vegan for decades. He and his wife provided sanctuary and care to many animals over the years on their farm which he loved so dearly.
Robert was preceded in eternal rest by his parents. He entered the sunset of life on Friday, February 7, 2025.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Juliana; his cherished daughter, and son-in-law Aubrey and Edmund Hunt of Asbury Park, NJ, who will forever hold his memory close. He is also survived by his loving brothers-in-law, Brian, Gerard and Patrick and wife Mellisa O'Neill as well as his dedicated sister-in-law Jacqueline O'Neill-Mercer, all of New Jersey. He also leaves behind his former wife, Marilyn Warren, who remains a cherished friend.
Bob will be remembered by all who had the privilege to have known him, for his positive, warm and easygoing countenance. His legacy of love, strength and service will live on in those he leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in honor of Dr. Robert Warren to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
