Robert Elvin Patton, 80, of Crescent City (Paradise Shores), entered the sunset of life on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at his residence. The son of Clovis Elvin and Ida Louise (Reynolds) Patton, he was born on June 15, 1944 in New Castle, Indiana. He was educated in the Henry County IN School District. He was employed by Chrysler Machine and Forge as a factory worker and retired in 1998. He loved traveling, telling stories, and aggravating his daughter (family inside joke). He also loved antique cars and warm weather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his wife of 50 years, Lillie Mae Stockton Patton; sister, Ruth Ann(Robert Bell) Patton; twin sister, Roberta Louise Patton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert Beckner, Pauline and Gene Hasty; George and Ruby Stockton, Sam and Shirley Stockton, Floyd Piercy.

He leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Amanda (Spencer "Boone") Bradley;  sisters, Betty Jo Piercy, Maggie Easter Beckner; grandpup, "Sneechie"; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

Memorial services will commence at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 2, at Hinsey-Brown Chapel, 3406 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, IN 47362. Interment: Green Hills Memory Gardens, New Castle, IN. Pastor Mark Wooten, Memorial Wesleyan Chapel, is officiating.
