Robert Daniel Gray was born May 12, 1941 in Wyocena, Wisconsin to Daniel Ivan Gray and Mary Ellen (Haynes) Gray.  At the age of two, his family relocated to Waggaman, Louisiana. He was united in marriage to Rose Breaux and they became the parents of two daughters: Roxane and Robin. He was a general contractor and security guard. He was known to be "a jack of all trades". He had a love for painting, reading books, western movies, and classical music.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in eternal rest by his wife, Rose; siblings, Ralph Gray, Daniel Ivan Gray Jr., Richard Gray; stepchildren, John Berthelot, Harry Berthelot, Margaret Hebert, Theodore ‘Tippy’ Berthelot, Mamie Flora and niece, Dawn Kirk.

Robert entered the sunset of life on March 08, 2026 at the age of 84.

Memories of Robert are cherished by his two daughters: Roxane Michelle (Edward) Rushing and Robin Renee (Scott Robinson) Gray; siblings: Virginia Tate, Maryann Gray, Carolyn (Carl) Dick, Jeffery Gray; stepchildren: Leroy Berthelot, Homer Berthelot, Mikeal Berthelot; grandchildren: Jonathan Michael Rushing, Eric Scott Rushing, Brandon Scott Robertson; a host of step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews: Terry, Tammy, Delta, Shawna, Theresa, Carl, Jr., Troy.

The family would like to thank all the nurses at Haven Hospital, Roberts Care Center and his good friend Susie Kline and his nurse Margaret for all that they have done.
