Ricardo Jerome Bryant, 69, native and lifelong resident of St Augustine, entered the sunset of life on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at St Augustine Health and Rehabilitation Center, St Augustine.  The son of Obie Bryant and Harriet Louise (Henley) Bryant, he was born on Monday, August 9, 1954. Ricardo was a 1972 graduate of St. Augustine High School. He was employed with the St. Johns County School District as a bus driver for 11 years. He was of the Christian faith and attended Family Worship Center, St. Augustine. Ricardo often enjoyed fishing at Vilano Beach.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in eternal rest by his sister, Janie Lafaye Bryant Santillana.

Ricardo leaves to cherish his memories: devoted wife, Cheryl Ann Major Bryant, St. Augustine; daughter, Tameka Louise Bryant, Oklahoma City, OK; step-children, Marques (Tarsha) Oxendine, Crystal Oxendine, Brian Oxendine, all of St. Augustine; grandson, Ricardo Austin Bryant, Oklahoma City, OK; a host of step-grandchildren; sisters, Rosetta (Billy) Lanier Harrison, Tampa; Sylvia (Fred) Lanier Stephens, Cocoa; Rhonda Bryant, Deltona, Mitzie (Sammy) Bryant Backman, Charleston, SC; aunt, Louvenia (Rayfield, III) Cullar, St. Augustine; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 9-11 a.m. with Celebration of Ricardo's Life commencing at 11 a.m., Friday, June 14 at the Chapel of St. Johns Family Funeral Home, 385 SR 207, St. Augustine. His nephew, Deacon David C. Wright of Abundant Life Ministries, Palatka, officiating.
