Obituary

Reginald Bernard Wiggins, 19, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Monday, July 11, 2022 at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The son of Reginald Bernard Horner and Rose Michelle Wiggins, he was born on Thursday, May 1, 2003 in Orange Park. "Horner Boy" was educated in the Putnam County School District and recently graduated with Palatka High School Class of 2022. He was a member of Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. "Horner Boy" loved serving God and had a special passion for helping the elderly. From a young age, he was fascinated with trucks and with the help of his Uncle, learned how to drive semis. He had plans to begin school to become a truck driver the week after his untimely passing. He loved spending time with his family, cooking, and weightlifting. From a young age, "Horner Boy" liked to earn his own money and was a good steward of his money. He worked summer jobs since the age of 10. He worked at Buffalo Wild Wings (2 Months), Corky Bells (2 years), & obtained an automotive and welding certificate.

"Horner Boy" was preceded in eternal rest by his maternal grandparents, Sharon Smart, Thomas Wiggins; paternal grandparents, Edgar & Mary Alice Horner, great-aunts, Eartha Jean Smart, Linda Gail Smart Hall; uncles, Edgar Horner, Jr., Ronald Horner, aunt, Vanessa Horner; godmother, Martha "Sweet Rose" Nichols.

He leaves to cherish his memories: parents, Rose Michelle (Antonio) Wiggins Marlow, Reginald Bernard Horner; brothers, Ka'Darieh Wiggins, Edgar Horner, Ronald Horner; sisters, Crystal (Marcel) Horner-Attin, Gloria Horner, Myshayla Wiggins Horner, Sumia Horner, Heaven Horner; aunts and uncles, Nicki Alexander, Mark Webb, Thomas "Heavy" Wiggins, Arthur (Twanya) Horner , Juanita Horner-Oxendine, Larry Horner, Claudette Horner, Calvin Horner, Wallace (Letty) Horner, Pamela Horner, & Lisa (Michael) Smith; special friend, Ja'teria Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, July 22 at Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 North 19 th Street, Reverend Anthony Q. Robinson, Sr., Pastor. Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m., Saturday, July 23 at Palatka High School, 302 Mellon Road, Palatka. Interment will be in Oak Hill East Cemetery.
