Reginald Alvin Florence, 51, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. A native of Palatka, he was the son of Willie and Marion (McCaskill) Florence, born on Monday, October 14, 1968. He was educated in the Putnam County School District. Reginald was united in marriage to the former Yolanda Denise King. He was a member of To God Be the Glory Holiness Church. Reginald was employed in the Kraft Paper department at Georgia Pacific and also Fresh Point of Fort Lauderdale. He enjoyed listening to music, watching sports (especially his beloved Miami Hurricanes) and spending time with his family, especially his "wifey" and grandchildren. Reginald was an all-around man.

Lauderdale; Willie Florence, Jr., Terrence Florence, Ja'vontae Florence, all of Palatka; Quanneasha (Jammie) Cooks, Milton, FL; like sons, Daquari Scott and Kamarre Anders; like a daughter , LaJada Rich, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Anthony (Dot) Wellon, Gary (Stephanie) Wellon, Bridgette (Carl) Lewis, Willie Joe (Garsha) King, Marvin King, Donald King, Kevin (Rhonda) King, all of Palatka; Cavonda (Wilmon) Jenkins, Gainesville; aunts and uncles, Lamar (Georgia-Ann) Florence, Lewis McCloud, Alfred (Mary) Hines, Mary Smith, Essie Gibbs, all of Palatka; Larry (Blossom) Florence, Ft. Lauderdale; Johnny (Betty) McCloud, Lakeland; Elijah (Jackie) Offord, S. Carolina; Mattie Battle, Orange Mills; godmother, Linda "Gail" Hall, Palatka; and a host of uncles, aunts, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines (including required masks) a private family, socially-distanced Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 22 at To God Be The Glory Holiness Church, 3521 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, Pastor Linda L. Hall is the eulogist. Friends are invited to join the family virtually via Facebook live: Flagg Serenity Memorial Chapel. Interment: Oak Hill West Cemetery.
