Ramona Mims Johnson, 47, of Crescent City, entered the sunset of life on Saturday, April 20, 2019 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native of Crescent City, she was the daughter of James Mims and Juanita Mims Wright, born on Monday, April 10, 1972.  She was educated in the Putnam County School District at Crescent City High School.  Ramona was a member of Pleasant Grove A.M.E. Church, Georgetown. Ramona enjoyed listening to music, exercising, and spending quality time with her family.  She worked for nearly 15 years as a Home Health Aide at Rose Manor Assisted Living Facility, Deland.

Ramona was preceded in eternal rest by her husband, Arvin Rownell "Cheese" Johnson; father, James Mims; and stepfather , Bernard Wright, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: loving mother, Juanita Victoria Wright ; loving children, Rochell Williams, Quatiana Banks, Eugene Harris, Jr., and Jalen Mims, all of Crescent City; grandchildren, Nazarrien and Nazayiah Jones, both of Crescent City; sisters, Janice (Robert) Wright, Atlanta, GA, Debra (Robert) Murphy, Patricia (Arthur) Young, Brenda (Derric) Whitmore, all of Deland; brother, Bernard (Ayesha) Wright, Jr., Pomona Park; loving stepchildren, Dominic Neeley, Lamont Riley, Hope Johnson, Rashell Johnson, Arvsheka Johnson, Ar'Keilah Johnson, A'keissah Johnson, and Marquis Lewis; special friends, Tarrell Johnson, Welaka, Lisa Washington, Deltona; and a host of other relatives and friends.
