Ramel Di'Marcus Rodgers, 39, of Palatka, entered the sunset of life on Monday, November 20, 2023 at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, Gainesville, surrounded by his devoted wife, children, family and friends. Ramel was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 1983, to Lois Marie Jones and Ray Anthony Rodgers in Palatka, FL. Ramel was educated in the Putnam County School District and later earned his GED.  He was employed with G-Scape Landscaping as a Crew Leader. Ramel was a very hard worker and enjoyed spending every moment after work with his loving wife and kids.

Ramel was preceded in eternal rest by his sister, Precious Rodgers; maternal grandmother, Velma T. Shorter; maternal grandfather, Alonzo Jones; favorite uncle, Dennis Shorter Sr.

Ramel leaves to cherish his many memories: wife, Kutana Latrice Rodgers; mother, Lois Marie Jones; father, Ray Anthony Rodgers; children, Cameron Angelten, Adonnis Jones, Renada Jones, Avre'Yana Rodgers, Aman Rodgers, Kemiyah Davis, Kaden Rodgers, My'Aunna Myers and Trinity Curtis; sister, Shanesha Johnson; brothers, Jeremaine Rodgers and Alton Hobbs; best friends, Bernard Roan and Marcus Myers; godson, Christian Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Friday, December 1, at Flagg's Chapel of Serenity. Graveside Service & Interment: 10 a.m., Saturday, December 2, at Pattersonville Cemetery, 275 CR 207A, East Palatka, FL 32131.
