Peggy Elaine Middleton, 71, of Lake Como, entered the sunset of life on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Orange Park Medical Center, Orange Park. A native of Surrency, GA, she was the daughter of Johnny and Josephine (Goodwin) Crosby, born on Friday, April 23, 1948. Peggy was educated in the Appling County Georgia School District. She was employed by the Fraternal Order of Eagles (1995-2000) and Moose (2000-2017). She enjoyed watching football games. She was an avid Florida Gators fan. She also enjoyed playing darts, bingo, crossword puzzles, and working at her place of employment.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in eternal rest by her brother, Jimmy Crosby, and son, Terry Crosby.

She leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Josephine Goodwin-Crosby; children, Jody Johnson, Lori Peck Kirby, Katrina Childree Crawford; grandchildren, Carol Johnson, Stephen Kirby, Ashley Kirby ; sister, Evonne Wells Spry; aunts, Jeanette Bullock, Alma Simmons; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, November 23 at the family's residence, 107 Hotel St. Lake Como, FL 32157. Chaplain Rick LeBlanc, family friend, officiating.
