Obituary

Pauline Anderson, 78, of Seville, answered the eternal call and entered the sunset of life on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Florida Hospital-Deland. A native of Sylvania, GA., she was born on Saturday, September 22, 1934 to Paul & Rosa Lee (Morris) Anderson, Sr. She was educated in the Screven County, GA., School System and she later moved to Seville until the Lord called her home. Over the years, she was employed as a citrus worker, laborer in the ferneries, and subsequently became a devoted Home Care Assistant with Duvall Home Care of Deleon Springs, FL. Many years ago, she became a member of St. John's Missionary Baptist Church, Seville. She enjoyed reading, word puzzles and family gatherings. Pauline was a woman of God who touched the lives of many with her loving spirit and big heart. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in eternal rest by her brothers, John Anderson, Robert Lee Anderson and Willie J. Anderson, Sr. Those who cherish her memories: beloved son, David Brian Anderson, Orlando; caring sisters, Lou Eva Anderson and Coletha Howard, both of Deland; devoted brother, Paul (Jean) Anderson, Jr., Seville; and a host of dearly loved cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and special loved ones. Visitation of family and friends will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013. Homegoing Celebration will be 11 a.m. at Flagg's Chapel of Serenity, 2400 Madison Street, Palatka. Reverend Brian Thomas, pastor of New Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, Crescent City, is the eulogist.
