Patricia Ann Harris Hamilton, 58, of Seville, entered the sunset of life on Monday, October 8, 2018 in Deland. A native of Deland, she was the daughter of Herbert Harris and Mary Magdalene (Johnson) Harris, born on Saturday, February 20, 1960. She was educated in the Volusia County School District. In her early years, she worked alongside her parents and sisters in the fernery business. On March 27, 1999, she was united in holy matrimony to Howard Hamilton. Patricia was a former Deli Supervisor at Winn Dixie in Deland and Transportation Specialist with Med-One Shuttle in Pierson.
Many years ago, she was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church of Pierson, where she faithfully served as choir director and a soloist. She formerly attended Pentecostal Full Gospel Church. Upon her return to Seville from Jacksonville, she became a faithful member of New Saint Paul Church of God in Christ, under the pastoral leadership of Elder Jarvis F. Wright, where she served as a Co-Coordinator of the Women's Department.
Patricia is certainly missed already because she was a devoted wife, loving mother, dear friend and dedicated Christian servant. She enjoyed shopping, singing, eating seafood, and spending time with her family and friends.
