Patricia Ann Colson, 68, native and lifelong resident of Palatka, peacefully entered the sunset of life on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. The daughter of Lugene Colson Word and Richard Pollard, she was born on Friday, April 11, 1953. Patricia was educated in the Putnam County School District. She was a former 15-year employee at American Radionics, employed as an Assembly Welder, and subsequently was employed by Arc of Putnam County. She retired as a Customer Service Representative at the Dollar General store. Patricia was a member of Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church. She loved to play bingo and truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in eternal rest by her maternal grandparents, Stanfield and Alma (Herring) Colson; father, Richard Pollard, Sr., like a father, Robert Passmore, II; sisters, Gloria Passmore Simmons, Charlene Passmore and Valerie Passmore; brother, Ronnie Passmore.
She leaves to cherish her memories: son and daughter, Timothy Colson, Sr., Palatka; Renata Isom, Ocala; grandchildren, Jasmine Colson, Sandrika Colson, Timothy Colson, Jr., Trevon Colson, and Devin Colson, all of Palatka; Charnessa Urbanczyk, Buffalo, NY; 2 great-grandsons, 4 great-granddaughters; sisters and brothers, Barbara Colson, Cheran (Terry) White, Samuel (Bertha) Passmore, Tina Passmore Roberts, Kenneth (Jamica) Passmore, Corinthian (Lushonda) Anderson-Passmore, Clarissa Pollard Hardwick, Richard Pollard, Jr., Terri Pollard, Laverne Passmore, Robert Passmore, III, LaKeshia Passmore, Kevin Passmore, Santana Passmore, Timothy (Glo) Passmore, Cynthia Brown, Anita (John) McCullough, Emma Brown, Tiffany (Arthur) Coley, Troy Reaves, and Kimberly Hunter; godchildren, Norma Felder-Bartley, TeKealia Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation of family and friends will be 3-5 p.m., Saturday, August 21 at "Flagg's Chapel of Serenity." Homegoing Celebration will be 3 p.m., Sunday, August 22 at Calvary's Family Life Center, 1414 Bronson Street, Palatka, Florida. Reverend Karl N. Flagg, Pastor of Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, is the eulogist. Interment will be in Oak Hill West Cemetery.
